KAPA®tech FIVE-DOT-MISSION
KAPA®tech, the innovative lightweight sheet, has been assessed in line with our MISSION: TOGETHER. RESPONSIBLE. The product currently achieves a FIVE-DOT classification with a total of 4 points.
The aluminium used in the aluminium cover sheets in KAPA®tech is in part recycled. Aluminium is one of the materials best suited to recycling because regardless of how often it is recycled, there are no detrimental effects on its material properties. We intend to increase the proportion of recycled aluminium in our cover sheets in the future. All KAPA®tech panels comply with the requirements in the current version of the REACH & RoHS directives.
KAPA®tech is lightweight due to the special manufacturing technology featuring an expanded foam core between two outer aluminium cover sheets. As the foam core requires fewer resources to manufacture, the material has a lower carbon footprint.
KAPA®tech foamboards have an average life span of up to several years. Their service life can be considerably longer depending on the application and place of installation, e.g. as a base panel in furniture construction, for ceiling cladding and air conditioning ducts in buildings or in public transport vehicles.
