Bright reception: Interior design with PERSPEX®
We are celebrating 90 years of PERSPEX®. Each month of the anniversary year, we are presenting an example of an application of this versatile material. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
As you approached The Engine Group's London headquarters, you could see it shining from afar: a brightly coloured, illuminated wall of PERSPEX® boxes. As a global agency for brand consultancy, advertising, PR and events, The Engine Group (now Next 15 Group) opted for unique interior design when redesigning its reception area. The interior was the result of a creative collaboration between Jump Studios, who specialise in interior design, and the acrylic art creators and visionaries at acrylicize.
The PERSPEX® light wall was an impressive installation based on a modular design, featuring precision cut and fabricated boxes, using different colours of PERSPEX® Frost, illuminated with colour changing LEDs. Integrated into the customised design were two LCD screens, magazine displays and a special light box with the company logo. A friendly entrance with a high recognition value.
