PERSPEX® in the world’s biggest egg hunt!
Last year, Central London played host to the world’s biggest egg hunt, a remarkable public art event that captured the imagination of thousands. More than 150 recycled egg sculptures were creatively transformed by leading artists, designers, architects and jewellers into one-of-a-kind masterpieces, displayed throughout the city’s most iconic outdoor locations.
To protect some of the eggs placed in high-footfall areas and those anticipated to achieve high value in the charity auction, our partner Project Plastics produced display cases using 12 mm PERSPEX® Clear Cast acrylic.
Thanks to its exceptional optical clarity (up to 92 % light transmission), high-gloss surface, and outstanding outdoor durability, PERSPEX® allowed unobstructed views of each design while providing reliable protection for the exhibits across the city’s busiest public spaces.
This project is a striking example of how precision, creativity and the quality of materials come together in perfect harmony.
In presenting this project, we wish you a bright and inspiring Easter. May your days be filled with colour, creativity and good company!
