ECOLOGICAL ACROSS-THE-BOARD - DISPA® PAPERBOARD BY 3A COMPOSITES AND WATER-BASED, ECO-CONSCIOUS LATEX INKS BY HP
Digital printing has been revolutionized by HP, thanks to its patented Latex Technology coupled with HP Latex printers. With these printers, the printing process uses water-based, solvent-free inks on both flexible and rigid substrates. Printing with HP Latex inks is odourless - ideal for indoor use - and delivers excellent ink adhesion and scratch resistance. Printed media can be cut or trimmed without causing cracks to form.
Our eco-friendly DISPA® paperboards are the perfect printing substrate for this innovative and sustainable printing technology. All paperboards in the DISPA® range have been extensively tested by HP and "Certified for HP Latex Inks".
Made of 100% paper, DISPA® paperboards are available in four different varieties. The display boards come in two thicknesses, 3.8mm (5-layers) and 2.4mm (3-layers), as well as with high-quality canvas look surfaces on both sides (DISPA®canvas) and for short-term outdoor use (DISPA®outdoor). DISPA® paperboards’ unique structure provides outstanding qualities and, as it is a paper product, the boards are 100% environmentally friendly. All DISPA® product versions are made of FSC®-certified paper (FSC® C127595) and are fully recyclable. Disposal in waste paper is simple and cost-effective.
Thanks to a virtually non-directional core structure, DISPA® boards are lightweight and feature optimum flatness and excellent dimensional stability. An equally high level of rigidity - lengthwise and crosswise - is one of the main advantages over corrugated cardboard.
Printing on DISPA® boards achieves excellent results and both digital CNC equipment and standard die-cutting tools can be used for processing.
