THE SPECIALLY OPTIMISED COATING SYSTEM USED IN THE NEW DIBOND®DIGITAL LX VERSION MAKES IT AN IDEAL PRINT SUBSTRATE FOR LATEX AND UV-LED INKS.

Digital printing has been revolutionized by HP, thanks to its patented Latex Technology coupled with HP Latex printers. With these printers, the printing process uses water-based, solvent-free inks on both flexible and rigid substrates. Printing with HP Latex inks is odourless - ideal for indoor use - and delivers excellent ink adhesion and scratch resistance. Printed media can be cut or trimmed without causing cracks to form.

Featuring improved scratch resistance, the newly developed surface coating for the product type DIBOND®digital LX in conjunction with latex and UV-LED ink systems ensures weatherproof prints and reproduces brilliant colours at the same time.

DIBOND®digital LX is produced with two different standard surfaces: the new coating system for latex and UV-LED inks on the front; the tried and tested PUR lacquer for conventional UV inks on the back. (Double-sided DIBOND®digital LX is available on request). The DIBOND®digital LX side is indicated by inkjet print on the protective film.
