Max Falsetta Spina Contemporary Photography Exhibition – DIBOND®mirror
On the occasion of this year’s Vigevano Art Biennial in Italy, Max Falsetta Spina exhibited a new concept of contemporary parametric photography on DIBOND®mirror.
The extraordinary event took place in the heart of the city of Vigevano inside the Visconti-Sforza Castle and united past and future, tradition and innovation, and positioned the city as a cultural centre of international importance.
The works on display were created with DIBOND®️mirror. The three-dimensional parametric sculptures have been exhibited in both medium and large dimensions. As Max Falsetta Spina is also working as a set designer for major fashion brands, he came across our DIBOND®mirror material, which is often used in the areas of signage, product and furniture design, shopfitting, interior design, shop design as well as trade fair and exhibition design.
Thanks to the material properties, the sheets can be easily processed. After printing his impressive photographs on DIBOND®mirror, Max Falsetta Spina folded the sheets, similar to an origami. By doing so, he creates fantastic three-dimensional mirror photographic sculptures, allowing the observer to become an integral part of the work itself.
DIBOND®mirror is an aluminium composite panel, creating more light, space and transparency in interiors and it is an appealing material option for interior design. Reflective DIBOND® surfaces have specular reflection properties similar to those of a conventional glass mirror – but they are unbreakable and the panels offer a weight reduction of up to 50 %. DIBOND®mirror is impressively lightweight, which is a great advantage when it comes to handling and installing. The sheets also offer outstanding benefits for processing (CNC machining is possible) and their special surface satisfy demanding aesthetic design requirements.
