SWEDBOARD® Fibre FIVE-DOT-MISSION
SWEDBOARD® Fibre the innovative paper boards made of FSC®-certified paper (FSC® C147499), have been assessed as part of our MISSION: TOGETHER. RESPONSIBLE. SWEDBOARD® Fibre currently achieves a FIVE-DOT classification with a total of 12 points.
Biobased content
100% of the paper used in our eco-friendly SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium, SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium white, SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium nature and SWEDBOARD® Fibre Brown nature boards is FSC®-certified and 100 % renewable. Also SWEDBOARD® Fibre FR boards are almost entirely made up of renewable raw materials and are recyclable as paper. The specially developed cover sheets, which comprise an ultra thin layer of aluminium, enable the sustainable SWEDBOARD® boards to be used for applications with more stringent fire safety requirements.
FSC®-certification ensures that the wood required for paper production comes from sustainable, environmentally sound and responsible forest management.
All raw materials used in our SWEDBOARD® Fibre paper boards also comply with the requirements in the current version of the European Union's Chemicals Regulation (REACH). In particular, SWEDBOARD® Fibre paper boards are free of any of the substances listed in the current version of the ECHA Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The paper boards do not contain any toxic substances or heavy metals that may harm the environment or create health risks.
Recycled content
SWEDBOARD® Fibre boards have a core consisting of a high proportion of recycled paper; the cover sheets are made of new paper fibre.
CO2 Footprint
SWEDBOARD® Fibre uses paper from renewable, FSC®‑certified sources, keeping the carbon footprint very small.
Product life cycle
SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium, SWEDBOARD® Fibre Premium nature and SWEDBOARD® Fibre Brown nature boards are a perfect solution for medium-term, seasonal promotions and signage as well as for indoor POS/POP displays. SWEDBOARD® Fibre FR is also ideal for permanent shopfitting applications such as suspended ceilings with more stringent fire safety requirements.
Recyclability
The SWEDBOARD® Fibre paper boards are fully recyclable, i.e. the paper is returned to the recycling loop and used to produce new material. An established, closed-loop recycling system already exists for this purpose. The sheets can be easily and inexpensively disposed of as waste paper.
